Accessibility Reviews and ADA Consultation

Accessibility Reviews are a fee-for-service opportunity that serves to increase access to community businesses, organizations, recreation sites, and community events. We can review actual facilities or site plans. We can provide letters of support for grant projects, as well as full site reviews with a formal report. Staff are certified ADA Coordinators. We also offer consultation on the Americans with Disabilities Act. Rates vary based on the type and size of the request.

Accessibility standards issued under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) apply to places of public accommodation, commercial facilities, and state and local government facilities in new construction, alterations, and additions. The ADA Standards are based on minimum guidelines set by the Access Board.

There are many things that programs and organizations can do to enhance accessibility well over and above these minimum standards. Our certified ADA coordinators can help you identify ways to offer welcoming spaces and services.
